Hindus in Bangladesh
During last four decades in Bangladesh Hindus have lost about 26 lac acre land. Under the Vested Property Act more than 10 lacs legal cases , including Dhaka are hanging in different Courts. Modified and revised law have not been able to give expected result. Awami League government has tried many modifications regarding enemy property act but the benefit, what the minorities should get, have not materialized , said by Sabina Yasmin, Kisan Sabha General Secretary .
Main purpose of all these attacks are for capturing the Hindus
land in Bangladesh - commented by NHRC.
Attack on Hindu temples and burning of Hindu houses in Bangladesh is not only a matter of Hindu or non Muslim to create fear but it is creating panic among the women , both Hindu and Muslim. Slowly fanaticism and fanatics will burn all these things for which initiation has already started. I do not hesitate to say that if this is not stopped then Bangladesh will soon become a Taleban state - comments Taslima Nasrin.
As per barrister Amir ul Islam, President of Indo Bangla Maitri
Samiti and a member of the preparation of draftt constitution of Bangladesh -
These type of incidences in Bangladesh are worrying , small incidences are taking a bigger shape, progressive Muslim group in a Bangladesh is against such things and they are continuously condemning as well as raising voice against such happenings.
Recently Padma Shri honoured educationist Kari Masoom Akhtar says,
recent incidents happening in Bangladesh is aimed to disrupt the
relationship between India and Bangladesh. Pakistan and other foreign powers
with fanatic thoughts giving encouragement to such incidences. Slowly these
incidents will change the DNA of the
country.

There will be no more Hindus in Bangladesh in next 30 years
Prof. Dr. Abdul Barkat of Dhaka University, Bangladesh, after 30 years of research published a book entitled " Political Economy of reforming agriculture land - water bodies in Bangladesh" in 2016. He travelled widely in villages over the land to collect data for research work which was published in this book. Salient points are given below.
Till now about 2.4 crore Hindus have fled the country. From 1964 to 2013, on an average, daily 600 Hindus have left the country , which is reported as missing population ,but as per me around 3.4 crore Hindus have vanished, mostly the people in the age range of 15 to 49 have left Bangladesh.
Rate of of Hindus leaving the country per day before 1971 was 705 during , 1971 to 1981 it is 512, during 1981 to 1991 it is 436 and then 1991 to 2000 it becomes 767 , 2001 to 2012 it is 774 and from 2013 till now more than 600 per day Hindus are leaving the nation. He says, as an economist my thoughts are that within hundred years period the basic condition and the thoughts of Bangladesh will change totally. From 1947 - 16 Aadivasi group have vanished. Such migration of Hindus have effect on Social and Economic condition of the country.
He says attack on the Durga Puja pandal and vandalising was discussed worldwide but nobody is noticing the daily conditions of such incidences in the country. Daily some of the Hindu houses are burnt down, temples destroyed, Hindus are living under threat and fear.
Hindu population is continuously declining every decade as presented below (percent wise.)
